LEAP INTO THE WORK
2002 - present (ongoing series)
After seeing Ciprian Muresan’s work - “Leap Into the Void, after three seconds” (2004) – adding a dark twist to Yves Klein’s 1960 photograph of a man suspended in mid-air having leapt from a window, I got inspired and curious to experiment with my own body. Therefore travelling to different countries in the world I started to lay down and suspend the time for a while. In this attempt I wanted to get the vibe of that very particular place not only through seeing and hearing, but also getting in physical contact with that space.
